As most people have said, it's a great mask, but the spikes were designed horribly. The pegs that the straws fit on are of varying sizes, whereas the straws are all one exact size. So, often you get ones that won't slide on all the way, or are so small they slide on and off with far too much ease. It's not shiny at all, as depicted, unless covered in water. Polishing might be an option, but I wouldn't recommend it.

the mask itself is great. the quality is perfect. fits me exactly, it doesn't shift and i'm able to see claerly. but i was dissapointed at the spikes. i thought they would be solid and would be placed inside the nubs on the mask. instead they're somewhat like straws and placed over the nubs and are hollow. making them very delicate. other than the low quality of the spikes its a great mask i love it. i'll just have to be careful about where i put it/headbang it.

This is a great replica of Craig's mask, good qualitly latex. The only downsides are that the spikes can easily snap if the get pushed down at the spike end, the mask is too big and that the spikes dont stay in properly whilsy headbanging. The last problem can be solved either by super glueing in the spikes or by stapeling them in with small staples, both ways work fine. Overall, great mask!

The mask needed to be tweaked to get the nails to stay on. We used a BOS stapler (smaller staples that a regular staple) to permanently affix the nail spikes on to the mask as they kept falling off the nubs that were supposed to hold them on. Just center at the base and secure with the BOS stapler. We recommend doing this to anyone buying this mask...you can't really see the staples and it passed the head banging test with flying colors.
