As mentioned below, this product is not perfect, however; compared to some of the other items I have purchased, it is a fairly good value. It is much larger than I expected and is solid throughout, which will make it rather durable. Good color and nice overall appeal.
I purchased Grossferatu to use as a prop in my Halloween cemetary scene. Though I love his evil look and creepy demeanor I do wish he had a heavy base so that I didn't have to mount him over a post just so that he sits upright. I was hoping to be able to use it for an indoor prop as well, but the lack of a heavy base prohibits this. I did not realize when I purchased him that he would be so light and unstable. His 'look' is fantastic!
He looks awsome! This little guy looks like he is ready to join your party, and eat some human flesh while he's at it...
However, it would be fun if this character was slightly animated.
My uncle and I always dress this little dude up in all sorts of funny things, but thats just us. For YOU, I highly recommend this to anyone who needs that cemetery-castle-vampire mash-up in their Halloween times. It's pretty durable, light weight, and a bag-o-fun!
As suggested by another Halloween enthusiast, we plan on placing Grossferatu on top of a 55-gallon drum with fog coming out. Certainly to be an excellent prop with his good buddy Spazm nearby.
very versatile. i put him in a graveyard under a high overhead blue flood light and he looks great! I also saw the reviewer's picture with him in a fog barrel - wow! plenty of detail that doesn't get lost at night.
This will be our third year with Grossferatu in our yard. We just put a small spotlight on him and he scares everyone! Including our 120 pound dog, which is very funny.
I put Grossferatu in a barrel with a fogger. It looked awesome.

Grossferatu was the first Halloween prop I ever bought, and I'm so glad it was. This is a great prop for everyone, from beginner to expert haunter. A must buy for any Halloween fanatic.
I havent had this product long enough to use at Halloween yet but I can tell this year is going to be great, thanks to Grossferatu.
This prop has excellent attention to detail and makes for a great show-piece for parties/Halloween. The only negative aspect that I found on this product is there is no solid base, beyond that, it's great.
awesome product - grossferatu scared the sh8t out my neighbor when she cam eover
This is the scariest ground digger prop of all time. It is sooo realistic that I have to put a cover over it when I store it in my garage because it scare me to death. My Halloween party guests turn white when they see it in my graveyard scene.

I've been eyeing this monster since last year. I finally bought him during the half of sale. He's everything i wanted him to be. He reminds me Spazm (whom I also have), but creeper except he doesn't move. I'm very happy with him and I can't wait to give him his place in my halloween family of monsters.
I bought this prop years ago and I use it EVERY year in my yard scenes. Everyone loves it because it's just so creepy and you don't really know if it will move or not... I usually use a strobe light on it for more effect.. but it is ALWAYS a conversation piece, and everyone's favorite prop each year!
I've accumulated MANY Halloween props over the years ... but so far Grossferatu has been my favorite. We've had him popping out of an open grave, as the center piece to the buffet table at our annual Halloween party, climbing out of a freshly dug hole in our flowerbed, etc. He is very versatile and his latex/foam construction makes him pretty durable.
This is one of the best props to just set out. I set it out in the cemetary on Halloween to really scare the kids. I like to sit it out when my wife is not expecting it to creep her out. His eyes seem to follow you wherever you go and his sinister smile makes you not want to turn your back on him.
This prop, who I affectionately call "Fred," is nothing but great. He works well for Halloween, freaks people out when they come over to visit, which means he does his job well year round. Fred is very well built and the details of his face & body look great in any light.

Even a dank apartment can make a cool cemetery!

I use this prop at my annual Halloween parties. We put a grave stone behind him and dirt around him giving the effect that he just came up out of the ground (I put a brown tarp down under all this making clean up easy as I display this in my hall)
This is one of the greatest store-bought props I've ever used. Verrry creepy, especially in my graveyard surrounded by fog and uplighted. I hid him behind a tombstone so that he frighted many people who rounded a corner and didn't expect to see such a scary ghoul. I'm not a professional, but go to great lengths decorating for Halloween. This prop was extremely affordable for the home haunter.
You will always remember opening this FrightCatalog.com box. It's all about his eyes. Love at first site. I'm one to get my paints out to enhance our Halloween props, but I didn't have to do anything to Grossferatu. We have had him for several years. He's been seen popping out of the ground in our cemetery and seen on the trunk of our car's Halloween display. He always brings a smile (or scream to those trick-or-treaters.)
I put grossferatu out every Halloween and he never fails to scare a few of the kids. The latex foam has lasted well (I have had him for three years now), very durable and the colors have not faded. Great deal with the 50% off sale.
Loved this items as soon as I received it. It stands up easily and doesn't fall over in the wind. It's durable and the kids love him. He can withstand a kick from a child on Halloween.

As I mentioned, one of Grossferatu's eyes was scuffed up but it kinda added to his creepiness so I didn't bother to exchange him. He'll definitely add some scariness to my Halloween graveyard.
I keep Grossferatu in my living room all year long, simply wonderful! He is very frightening to our guests, it makes a fantastic conversational piece.
