He came before halloween so we got to use him for trick or treating. We put him in a cage w/ a strobe light and he was the star of our yard decorationS. We like him so much we named him Baby Bob and am keeping him out all year. Worth the $$$$, GREAT PROP! EVIL LAUGH AND EYES!!

We had a haunted house outside, the evening was very cool and the head didn't want to turn. We put it in the garage where it was warmer and it worked fin.

We do a free Haunted House every year, built out of two carports... I add one prop each year, and Hex was the newest addition, greeting guests in the 1st room... His cracking neck bones were a huge hit with kids and adults alike, his mouth also is synced to the devilish laugh, and his red eyes are pure evil. And the detail is good quality... dosen't look like rubber at all! A couple of minor faults... Sometimes he'll stop turning his head before he makes a full rotation, so only the wall got to experience the eyes and laugh, and a couple of times the eyes or mouth did not fire, still laughed, just no lights or movement. But, I'm still thrilled with the purchase

This product was very fun. We positioned it with some extra props, and put it in a haunted "tent" house that we do. Everyone thought it was great. I liked it since a lot of the things I have are full-size, and this was mid-size and the kids walking through got a mid-size surprise! The only thing that would have made this better would have been an electrical plug. It only uses batteries.

After reading all the comments from previous buyers I was sceptical but thought for the price and the use I intended for it might as well give it a try. It ended up exceeding my expectations in all aspects and I have and will continue to recommend this fun and creepy lil character!!

I had lots of fun as I put this guy in various spots throughout my house catching my wife and kids off guard. I used him on Halloween as part of a haunted trail (I had to amplify the laugh to be heard) and he had the desired effect. He does not look very real from the neck down, so to be scary he needs to be inside a setting with low light (the eyes light up brightly in low light).

I used this guy in my haunted tunnel elevated off the ground a little...it was great! He looks up at you after his head turns around and his eyes flash an errie red and cackles loud. Loved it!

I use this prop in my haunted graveyard. It looks really good sitting on top of one of my coffins and works well. It is really loud, which is a good thing, and the sensor works well. I wish it was a little bigger, but dont get me wrong, its not small.

We are going to set it out on Halloween.My kids wont look at it it freaks them out.One note;when I first got it I tried rechargeable batteries in it,the batteries were charged but not enough I guess because it wouldnt work.I ended up thinking it was broken and contacted the company.Although they couldnt refund my money they did offer a discount for my trouble.Turns out I didnt need it,I bought new regular batteries and it worked just fine.I applaude the company for taking my word and offering the discount.[...]The only real con about it is that as soon as you turn it on it starts to work which makes it hard if you want to surprise someone at the spur of the moment and you have to make sure there is nothing that wil prevent the head from moving when you turn it on because if there is you run the risk of ruining the mechanics.Still a great product.

This will make a great addition to anyone's Halloween collection. Very soft, pliable and realistic looking. Can't wait to show him off at my annual Halloween party. Only change I would make is button to turn off his laugh at times with only head turning and lights flashing. Otherwise, he is GREAT..........

I run a professional Haunted House. Loved the product when I first got him. Looked great, eyes worked perfect in the dark, jaw moved in unison with the creepy cackle. The head and bone cracking was great. However, just 30 minutes after putting into the Haunted House (in a room, in a bed not being touched, away from reach of patrons) his head stopped spinning. I have no idea as to why - I'm returning & hoping that I just got a defective prop. Becuase before he stoped, he was completely perfect.

I love Hex and got him at a good price. The animation and sound are good and will go great on the side of my walkway to startle trick-or-treaters. The only "issue" is the motion sensor is aimed a bit too low. I have to elevate him to trigger when people walk by. Outside of that he looks good and creepy and the pictures are an accurate representation. At [$] you can pass it up.

We are using this prop in a haunted house setting. It sits on a chair and scares everything from children to dogs!! The cracking noise is unnerving and the laugh is just evil. I love the eyes, he stares right at you with red glowing evil.

Purchased this product for Halloween 2008. Every year I add on to our haunted house effect. After reading the reviews I figured The Hex would be a perfect add-on for our spooky halloween set up. Upon receiving the Hex, I loved the way this product was made visually. However the sound was poorly made. For the price of this item the sound should have been crafted better. For a visual effect 2 thumbs up. For a sound effect 2 thumbs down..

Great addition to our Halloween Collection. Each year we add a new piece and this guy rocks.

The motion sensor works great and he is easily "set off". We have him sitting in a rocking chair and you don't really notice him…until you walk by that is.

We're getting great reactions. There is a little competition in the neighbourhood and we might win the "best decked out Halloween house" again this year.

It took my husband & me a good 15+ minutes to get the little screw out before we could put 4 AA batteries in Hex.

When Hex laughs, it sounds murky. Not crisp & clear. Otherwise he's a great accessory to our Halloween scene. Love the neck-cracking sound, and how his mouth moves. His motion sensors are very sensitive which I like. Sorry to complain about his laughter sounding murky - and I don't have Hex on the carpet.

this thing is good in a haunted farm scene. The only bad thing I saw was that when I put it on the carpet, it muffled the sound. I didn't buy it from you guys, but i'd bet that it's still the same prop.

Since the first time I saw "Junior," he was one of my favorite props. He is genuinely creepy and has realistic sound effects for that added touch. I highly recommend. For the money...you can't get a better animated prop!

Another great product from Morbid Industries. This appears the same as the previous static Hex, but now with rotating head and flashing red eyes. Very good sound and motion sensor, though don't set this onto a thick carpeted floor as that muffles the otherwise loud sound efx. My only objection is that this little guy is only a torso character and not a full figure.
