I found THE COUNT while shopping for some Halloween decor. I couldn't resist buying him even though I thought the price was crazy. After receiving it I realized he was WELL worth the price tag. Exceptional quality & detail! My little girls were quite taken with him...if fact they named him "Grandpa" and took everyone by the hand to show them him in our bonus room. During Christmas, I place a santa hat on him. I put him in a closet for a few months but everytime I opened it I would forget he was there and about have a heart attack! "Grandpa" was a great addition to our family, I wish that there were more props available with comparable craftsmanship.
There are props and then there are PROPS! Three years ago, I saw The Count and knew I had to have him. He's not cheap, so it took some convincing before my husband would agree to the expenditure. He was worth the wait! The Count is so amazingly realistic, you can even see his blueish veins and the crepey texture of his ancient skin. His soft wispy hair is real lambs' wool and His eyes light up (LED laser beam red). They are even spookier when not lit because they are made of glass marbles that catch shadows and appear to move. I wouldn't go so far as to say they "follow" you like advertised, but they definitely have a 3-dimensional quality. The Count is hollow from the back which is a fantastic feature that allows him to snug up flush to walls, but his hunched back and cape disguise what's going on there. Ingenius! I wish there were more in a series just like him because no other haunt props compare in quality. The Count was purchased for me by my husband as an anniversary present! Diamonds are so yesterday.
The count is fantastic!. This lifesize standing prop looks so life like it's scarry!. This is truly a good investment for people who are really into decorating at Halloween.
Photo's of mine during Halloween, in our entry as we open the front door.

I love this guy! I had my eye on him for a couple of years before I broke down and had to have him. The Count is lightweight and so easy to store, as well as display. He gets screams from our adult friends, even w/o batteries installed to make his eyes glow. Well worth the the money for a good looking and simply made dispay item (with a lot of detail as you get closer to him).
We purchased The Count a few years ago. One of the best-looking, most realistic, and just plain scary life-sized Halloween props ever! Never fails to creep out trick-or-treaters and party guests. (Even scares the wife when she forgets he's in the room, then suddenly enters preoccupied! And she's seen him hundreds of times!!!)
This has to be the most fantastic prop we have. It is lightweight, it is scary all year long no matter where you have it sitting in your house.
We have used ours during halloween for 4 years now and everyone still screams when we open our door.
We have it during off season just standing on our landing going upstairs and it still gets screams.
Nothing like looking out your bedroom door and seeing this thing standing in your hallway at 2 in the morning. Makes you not want to close your eyes to soon afterwards.
There really isnt anything that isnt great about it. Its durable, lightweight and so, so scary.
If you are ever in Battle Ground, Washington around Halloween, stop by at look at our setup, its cool.
This prop was my first and he is a favorite. He's full sized and surprisingly light weight. He comes in two halves that are bolted together easily. This prop is very well crafted.
Images shared by: eveI saw the count at a Haunt across the state, and had to have one for ours three years ago. We have used the count all three years - and had a new use for him each time. In a darken'd room, patrons thought that he was an actor in a great costume! Makes a great focal point/distraction, etc. I would suggest the count to ANY haunted house... I promise you'll find a place for him.
In the off season, The count stays in our home by a back window. He still gets me from time to time when I look in!
Definitely adds HORROR to a Haunt.
