I used this costume 2 years in a row. Both years I scared both children and adults alike. I sat in a chair and posed as if I was just a stuffed decoration. After the trick or treaters would get thier candy from the person giving it out at our door I would start slowly moving towards them or quickly, I would mix it up. I made some people in groups cry, drop thier candy and not return for it and even both. Some were adults! The only down fall that I really found was the black cloth inside the eyes, so I cut it out. I recomend that you wear a blue or black turtle neck or mock crew. Also purchase a tube of black makeup for they both conceal any visible flesh that the costume may not cover.

this is a very good costume if your looking to be a zombie...in fact one of the best iv'e found to date over the internet. I used this costume for several parties and it seemed to be a huge hit with everyone. However, although it does come with everything you need to be the ultimate gory zombie...the picture of the costume is actually a lot nicer than the costume really is. I had thought originally that the costume was made out like a jean jacket type of material so that it would appear more realistic. The costume is actually made out of cloth and the pants and the shirt are two different colors. The shirt is blueish and the pants are more green. Everything else was legit though. If your a real costume or Halloween fanatic like me then here is the best way to go about modifying this costume without destroying the actual costume itself.

*Put the costume on entirely and then put on a pair of jeans and a jean jacket over them.(or any other material you think might work better for you). Then cut and rip patches out of the jeans and the jacket to reveal the bones of the actual costume itself. Then add some fake blood to wherever you feel necessary and enojoy!(the more the better)Also, a pair of black boots or a dark colored shoe go very well with this costume.

My husband used this costume in a haunted house. Some people were so scared, they didn't even want to come through his area. It was great! We did have to add a few effects like fake blood and grime to give it a more rugged look.

This is a great costume! However, the shirt piece was too wide on the top for my medium frame, so it kept sliding down. I secured it with safety pins, and it fits well and doesn't look saggy or *weird* at all.

If you want this costume to look decent, you're going to have to rip up some old jeans and a denim jacket/shirt. It looks pretty good after putting that stuff over it (make sure you show the "wounds").

True, the mask doesn't have a strap, but it's really easy to take off if you want to eat or something.

I bought this costume on the looks and price alone. It's pretty well made and looks awesome with the bones/flesh attached to the shirt and pants. I am adding more velcro patches to the back of the shirt where you pull the existing velcro patch apart to get the shirt over your head. There is only one at the top near the neck and the back tends to open when you move. That's an easy modification anyone can do. One thing to mention... folks are saying it doesn't come with a strap to hold the mask/wig on. Actually it does come with a "hairnet" type of thing sewn in that you pull over the head while putting on the mask/wig. It works great. All in all good costume and scary!!!

This costume may have some flaws, but I think it is worth the money. The mask is the absolute worst thing I have ever seen, I immidiately cut that away from the wig the first year. I believe i used a Living Faces mask with the costume that year which went very well. The mask and wig eventually became part of one of my homemade head props, but the rest of the costume is used in various ways each halloween either by a human or a prop. The tots think the pants and shirt are just creepy!!!

Its a good looking costume right out of the box, but it requires some added touches to make a great costume. Nice detailing on the bones and flesh. The material is a bit cheap and the mask dosen't have a strap. However, it is the best low priced zombie costume you'll find.

We have named him Zeke the Zombie. He has been a mainstay in our Halloween yard display for several years. We stuffed him with pillow stuffing and attached him to a pole for the front yard. We then put some fake chains on his wrists...he is CREEPY.

I bought this costume to go to an annual costume themed birthday party. This year's theme was anything "dead or undead." When I saw this costume I thought it was perfect. When I received it was far less than perfect. The shirt was green and the pants were blue. It was T-shirt material that was fringed. Very cheap looking. Also, the mask hangs over the face, no straps to keep it on. I didn't have time to send it back and get another costume. So I made do. I used an old denim shirt and jeans. I put them on over the costume and cut them up over the fake wounds and added dirt and blood. I bought elastic string and punched holes in the mask for a better fit. It ended up looking really good after I put a lot of time into it. So, if you're creative, it's a good buy.

Well, on halloween me and my family goes to an after haloween party, lets just say some kids wouldnt even come near me. If you like kids being afraid of you then it is a good product. Only complant is that the mask me me sweat alot.
