About Shivering Mummy

From the deepest depths of the darkest tombs comes the Shivering Mummy, a being bent on birthing fear from the throats of onlookers. Standing on a wooden base, this ragged looking monstrosity totals over 5' in height. The head, arms, and upper torso all shake and shiver separately due to an internal electric motor, which is powered by a standard 110v power outlet. The eyes simulate realistic taxidermy, while the attached hair heightens the beyond-the-grave feel. Both the front and back of the Shivering Mummy have been professionally decorated, so you have a 360° of horror. The poly-foam material is durable, lightweight, and comes to you at a low price. Terrorize your neighborhood with this moving, quaking abomination and your Halloween may be full of fright. Size: 72” tall x 17” wide x 15” deep. Includes: One Shivering Mummy permanently fixed to a wooden base.

      Comments about Shivering Mummy:

A Gag Studios favorite! Nice scuplture and finish and the shivering effect is funny in daylight and disturbing in low night. I run a semi-pro haunted attraction and we have one. I recommend you attach actual stained gauze wrapping to the arms, etc (not interferring with moving parts) to heighten the overall effect. When this guy shivers, so does the gauze. My one complaint is the foam hands are liable to lose fingers if you're not especially careful when packing shivers up for storage. Nevertheless, a good high end home haunter animatronic. Highly recommend, if your haunt budget can afford it.

        Comments about Shivering Mummy:

This product has been around for at least 3-4 years and is a clever critter. His animated jitters are effective and the finish is good. However, I feel you need to go the extra mile and attach lengths of stained gauze bandage to this guy in order to really make it a killer full size prop. If you have the cash, buy this wacky sucker. You won't regret that descision.

        Comments about Shivering Mummy:

We named him Mr. Zantman. Kids are scared of him and adults love him! We've had him for 7 yrs and he's going strong! Be careful when you re-pack him to avoid damage. You can hide any damage by using gauze bandage rolls and hot glue. Just add another bandage to strengthen any weak or damaged spots. It just adds character.
