About Saint Devil Animated Prop
In the forgotten libraries and shunned stockades of the Vatican sits a book bound in bloodied rags. Hidden from humanity, it holds the tale of the Saint Devil. Originally a young man growing up in the foothills of Mont Blanc- the Saint Devil was first known as the goat herd Cain. A faithful man Cain often preached in the village, until one day a band of traveling gypsies arrived. In the village square danced a beautiful young temptress with whom Cain fell madly in love. He joined the band of gypsies in their travels across Europe. He preached across Spain, France and Italy, all the while stealing glances and writing poems to his beloved Isabella. One day the gypsies settled outside the Vatican, and as Cain began his sermon, he noticed Isabella take flight toward the holy city. Cain perused her through secret passageways and dismal alleys until, at last, he found Isabella in a passionate embrace with a priest. Cain went wild with jealousy, slaughtering his beloveds’ suitor. He then took his victims pure white dress and ran rampant in the Vatican, spilling blood of the innocent and dragging Isabella along as he went. Finally Cain made his way into the chapel. There, Cain took the communion chalice in his hand and as he gazed into Isabellas beautiful green eyes, Cain thrush a knife into her gut. He filled the chalice with her blood and as Cain drank of it, an inverted cross seared itself across his brow. Saint Devil, the Pope declared him, a bringer of pain and an instigator of Evil.
This malicious life-size prop includes a lightweight metal frame covered in clothes. The hands, feet, and head are made of latex. Purchase includes a plug-in motor, which causes the prop to shake. Prop is best used for indoor purposes. Prop has a metal stand that can't be seen the photos, base of the stand is circular and measures about 13" in diameter.
