queen of hearts plus size costume

I bought this as a costume for a Halloween party. The gown is beautiful, but I should have paid more attention to the reviews about the sizing. I normally wear a size 16-18 or 2X, but this gown was really tight. The sleeves would have been better if there had been some elastic at the point where the shoulder puffs end and the sleeves continue. Because the sleeves were tight, I needed a "Royal Dresser" to help me zip up and take it off.

This must have been designer or "Hollywood" sizing, where a designer size 10 is a larger size in a local department store.

Next time I'll believe the reviews about the sizing rather than the product descripton.
