    The customer reviews on Nocturna were extremely helpful. I would have been disappointed had I purchased her to use as a puppet.       This makes a better prop than puppet. The head is only attached to the outfit in the front (probably to insert hand through there instead of going up the dress) and the head is and empty shell.. my whole hand fits inside with too much room left over to control the head. To use as a puppet, you'd have to stuff the head with newspaper or something. I'm going to use it as a prop instead and put it in a baby car seat or stroller with a blanket to cover the missing bottom half. It looks great that way! The hair is a little thin; but the eyes and face are realistic.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      I found an old fashioned baby buggy at a yard sale and nestled the Nocturna Puppet inside- wrapped in baby blankets. I positioned the buggy next to a table that was contained a diaper bag, a baby bottle, and teething toys. Everyone that arrived at the party couldn't wait to see and hold the "baby". What a scare they got when they turned back the blankets!!

        I love Halloween! I was looking for something different for my yard display and decided to get the Nocturna puppet and her "brother" Zack. I found an old baby carriage and put them both in it. Sure was the talk of the "graveyard" last Halloween!

        The idea is very cool. Much of the scalp shows thru because very little hair was used and the head is not attached to the body. Unless you hold it upright with your had it flops over. It isn't really made to be used as a puppet. There is nothing to "puppet".
