Great item, got lots of positive feedback from people on it. Works best if there are lots of adjacent lights for it to reflect.

    Comments about Skeleton Disco Ball:

The motor and batteries for the eyes are working fine. However, the paint around one eye peeled off and the mirrors around the same eye started dropping off. I'm using for a Halloween party so it doesn't matter that much - however, I don't expect it last through a year of storage. Poorly made.

          Comments about Skeleton Disco Ball:

[...]it turned out to be a total piece of garbage. It looked OK on opening the box, but close examination revealed a number of flaws: several of the mirror pieces, including on in a very noticeable spot by the eye, were missing. (Not fallen off in the box, but completely missing) The post that the head hangs on was installed off-center, so it hangs crooked. Then I tried to power it up. 1st off, there is a screw holding the battery compartment in the skull shut. It turned out to be non-removable. It's jammed in in such a way that you would destroy the screwhead before you got it loose. So I've no idea if the eye lights work. Then I picked up the motor unit and heard a rattling sound. Sure enough, the motor ran but the post didn't turn. I opened the compartment (those screws came out easy) and a bunch of gears fell out. I put them back in in what looked like the right order, and then noticed that the hair-thin wire running from the power switch had come loose. It was barely sottered in place. I can't believe that Fright Catalog thought they could charge [$] for this thing. I'm returning it for a full refund.
